The other day I saw this new game in the arcade and I liked the prizes. I like the stuffed toys hanged in the sides. Yeah right, like I was going to get one by hitting the balloon with a dart.
Earlier this day, I tried it. A single try was worth 30 bucks. Since I actually don't want to spend much, I tried it only once and to no avail, I got nothing. I regretted spending for it because I could have bought myself a plushy already (though it would be cheaper than those displayed) without even playing the game with the chance of actually not getting it --and that I actually didn't get it in the end.
I was disappointed simply because I wanted one. Haha! And now I realized how childish I acted earlier. LOL! I even regretted how I convinced myself the other day that I don't want to just buy myself a stuffed toy, rather, I want to have one because I somehow worked for it (by virtue of winning the game instead). Freak!
But then, I went home tonight happy. *smile* I have a mini stuffed toy courtesy of M. We went to Toy Kingdom shortly after that shitty attempt of mine and I saw this cute lil lime rabbit (?). And to make the story short, he bought it for me. *flashes my teeth in a big smile*
Actually I feel kinda ashamed since I'm not used to having someone buy me what I want. Even if it's my parents who asks "Gusto mo 'to?", I'd rather not answer it. Me and my sister was brought up not to be brats. Though we really really like something, even if we're asked if we like it, we won't admit it. We'll just give out a coyly smile or our eyes will just get that kind of sparkle. If what we wanted was bought for us, then thank you. If not, then it's okay.
Today, I say thank you. :)
Happy day! :)

I love my own company
The other day (or was it yesterday) I wanted to have some alone time today at a coffee shop just to chill. But I wasn't able to do so because I had some change of heart.
I ended up having a lil retail therapy ('cause I just can't resist buying that lil angel) and some street-food-trip. I had a hotdog, kwek-kwek, 3pcs pork barbeque, 1 isaw, 1 probin (whatever the spelling of it is), and Sparkle. :) Now, you don't have to remind me how takaw I am. :) All in all, (I actually hate computing the money I spent but for the sake) I spent 44 bucks.
And this is what I hate about adding up how much I spent: I just figured out just now that I could have enjoyed sitting in Mcdonalds rather than standing on the side of the street busy with my food. Haha! Or it could have been my ever favorite Dunkin Donuts.... Oh well. At least I was still happy. :)

Captured
I like how photos remind me of stories.
I found a bunch of group pictures in one of my folders here in our PC. As I chose what to upload over Multiply, every picture reminds me of the moment I took those. Just like these:
The Scene --first thing in the morning.. Dahil hindi nakagawa ng reflection for the day that was, sa jeep na lang gumagawa (even the jeep is moving) para pag-time nang ipasa sa site, tapos na tapos na ang assignment. :)
Haha! Hangwriting pa lang ni Kevin, para nang tinuka ng manok... Pano pa kaya kung magsulat na umaandar ang jeep? :) Waaaah! Miss you Kev :)
Gala kami eh... Kaya matapos "gawin" ang mga requirements, laro muna...
Eto! Haay. Hanggang ngayon, napapa-LOL pa rin ako... Ang bag ni Johnny Boy na nahulog sa imburnal. Bow. LOL!!!

Head Nursing Exposure Week 1
I hope there's something like:
JOB HIRING: Head Nurse
...'cause I'd definitely apply for the job. For just three days, I already love Head Nursing.
First day was fine. Just like any firsts, the feeling is ambivalent. Excitement, nervousness, innocence, whatever. Oh! How can I forget to mention the airhead juniors who are so disrespectful and so mister-or-miss-i-know-everything-and-im-way-better-than-you-a******?
Well, for the second day we finished early. I guess the highlight would be this: A misunderstanding happened between this SN (student nurse) and this particular nurse trainee who assumes that SNs know ALL hospital procedures. It ended up that this staff with a scandalous mouth made a hell of a noise in the station which was of course heard by everyone. The HN (head nurse) then explained to this a**-kisser that not all hospital procedures (paperworks) are done by the SNs. The commotion was later on settled.
The airheads, by the way, were better on day 2. Though if I were their PCI (practicing clinical instructor), I wouldn't even help them make the headings for each sheet on the chart. I wonder why they don't know how to make the charting, read the IVF level, and even check a patient's blood pressure.
Press rewind. On to day 1.The nurse trainee (see above) received the complaint of Patient B thru the doctor. Allegedly, the trainee insisted that this drug was for patient B when in fact it's for the other patient. The trainee, should I say, was combative when doctor told her that the patient would like to make a complain in black and white. She had a discussion with the attending physician and she insisted that what patient B complained was not true.
The doctor called the attention of the station's head nurse for the second time. He relayed to the HN what the patient told him during the rounds. This junior took the patient's vital signs. For the blood pressure, here's the picture: BP cuff was on patient's arm......... and the stethoscope was left hanging over his neck. Junior to Client: "110 over 80, Sir".
Third day ended up unexpectedly funny. Bloopers during endorsement time! :)
(Staff: "relax lang... inhale.. inhale, hold your breath. inhale, hold your breath.)
Resident-in-charge ------- PRESIDENT-in-charge
Dr. Estuart ------- Dr. ESTRAUT
(Staff: "ano yan? parang bell sprout? plants vs zombies? Isordil!!!)
The phone's ringing and I was the closest to it, so I answered calls on behalf of the staff during endorsement. There's this one time, the phone's ringing again. I became tired of answering and was hesitant. I decided to pick the phone up then I looked at Gg, she made the move towards the ringing phone and picked it up. The phone's still ringing. She picked up the wrong phone! The ringing phone was the intercom. :) Toinx. I ended up answering it anyways. :) The shame that's supposed to be mine was hers. Hehehe :) Peace, Rara. :)

Ex-Mamugz
My final sem had a twist. I was transferred to another group --the Bugstato. After the new groupings was posted, we tried to make some requests in which was later on denied.
If you'll ask me at this very moment, I'd say I'm happy with how things had turned out to be. The other "transferees" don't feel the same (I'm betting on it) because of personal reasons. And for this, I wonder why I differ from how they feel.
*I feel kinda tired at the moment. Hehe. Guess I'll have to cut this here for now... I'll make an update soon. Oh, I'm planning to blog on two things. One's a list. And the other is a "how-to" post. :D Ja ne!*

Crocodile Park, Finally!
I had fun yesterday though I didn't want to go near animals even if they're caged. All animals. Hahaha! Birds, ostrich, monkeys, phyton, lizards, squirrel, and whatelse is there.. Have I mentioned the crocodiles (especially Pangil)? Sheesh. Pangil's so big. I told M that he'll be accommodated inside that crocodile's stomach. :D Really. :)
Maybe he thinks I'm bluffing. And that I didn't enjoy our date.... which is not true. I enjoyed it, really. I'm not an animal lover.... I don't want to touch that phtyon's body... Nor place a baby croc (with mouth taped) in my shoulders... I shielded his body against a running baby ostrich towards our direction... I refused to go any nearer those cages containing reptiles (even birds, and OK, I admit..... all animals.. there)... So what if I didn't? I enjoyed Crocodile Park in my OWN way. Hahaha! :D Like taking a look at animals from a "safe" distance (I know they're caged. But they mustn't be overwhelmed. Hehehe. What did I say?)... Taking some pictures of myself and some other cute animals I've seen (like the squirrels, the tiger, and the playful orangutan). Asking M to take pictures of me.. Taking our pictures... Strolling with him.... And sipping some cool shake beside the river while winding down.
I felt like a child. Hahahahaha! *C'mon! Lemme finish..* I felt like a child, not that almost everyone there were kids but because I can't remember the last time I went to a zoo. OK, it wasn't a zoo. But seeing those various animals makes you think and feel that it was. I felt like a child 'cause I felt the excitement in going there, in strolling, like I was when I was younger.
Next time, I want us to play badminton. :) Or go to NCCC Mall and ride those electronic-and-furry-animals-that-needs-token... I don't think he wants to ride those. Oh well, if he really won't, I'll let him take pictures of me. Great idea, isn't it? LOL ♥

Student Life
After five academic years, finally I'm now in my senior year in college. Woo-hooo!!!! In my circle of high school friends, only three (I'm one of them) are still undergrads and the rest (8 of them) are now graduates. One is pursuing extra units in her chosen profession, two are into med school, most are reviewing (I guess) for the board.
I remember last year when the 2nd semester started for everyone, my friends were so into the "we're graduating soon" theme. Honestly it made me sad most of the time that we're together because all they ever talk about was them nearing the end of their school years. They joke around about leaving us behind still burdened with the workloads of school. In fact there are moments wherein I don't want to see them at all just because we'll be the butt of their jokes again.
Now I'd still be in that school. The difference? I'm in my senior year. At last!
I spent two years being a Freshman. I had a sweet torture kind of fate in my first Freshman year. Then I decided to shift course and also to transfer to another school. Being in my first university was all I ever wanted. I even turned down the opportunity of being in another college I do not only like, but most of my friends are there too.
A sweet torture, it is. Sweet because I get to be in a prestigious and one of the best university nationwide. A torture because it made me stressed, holistically stressed.
And so I shifted and transferred. I don't have any regrets, seriously. Though I seldom have these "what-ifs" in mind, still I don't regret anything. Things happen for a reason. And whatever situation I am in now, it's the best for me and God had already planned this in the very beginning so He can make me be the person He created me to be.
Waaahh!!! Whew! :D This is my final year of being a student. I'll savor every moment, treasure all the friendships I've made, and be the best I can offer to my Maker.
Let's get it on!

Physically. I was not allowed to live in a dorm near school. Hence, I travel north to south and back again everyday. (Rough estimate of 22 kilometers?) Emotionally. Both my parents are away. I am in-charge of the budgeting, the groceries, the bills, even daily cooking.... everything. And the most important of all --- Intellectually. I don't like my course. There! It's a pain in my neurons. I really don't know. Maybe if I live near my school, and if I don't have those responsibilities of being a daughter and a sister.......... Maybe it would be a different story. Maybe.
